STG Net Soars by 203 Percent

New Delhi, India - (July 1, 2000) Software Technology Group International Ltd. (STG) has posted a net profit of Rs 1.82 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal year, registering a growth of 203% over the corresponding period of last year.

In view of encouraging annual results for the year ended March 2000, showing a record growth of 65% and 328% in revenue income and net profits respectively, the board of directors have recommended a higher dividend at 20% for the year ended March, 2000 against 10% of previous year.

STG has put into effect an ambitious expansion program of its software development division, focusing on high growth areas of activities like business-to-business (B2B) e-Commerce solutions to the global marketplace. STG has recently launched a B2B e-commerce portal named digitaltradeb2b.com, which is the first major step to fulfill STG's e-commerce strategy, which comprises of ERP, Web-enabled applications, B2B solutions, portals, and finally integration with WAP based applications.
